Argus Public Order Helmet Model 017T

Description / Applications:

Public Order (Anti-Riot) Helmet featuring multisize, self-coloured Thermoplastic shell fitted with energy absorbing EPS liner, high impact Polycarbonate visor and replaceable Neck protector. Helmet shell incorporates four metal gauze Audio inserts, which are resistant to the ingress of liquids and ignited substances. High comfort flame-retardant interior featuring replaceable Cheek pads, Sizing pads and Crown pads. Chinstrap fitted with chin-cup and quick release buckle. Designed to provide protection against Impacts, Liquids & Ignited Substances for use by Police, Prison & Security Services.

  Size Range:

The Argus Helmet features a multisize shell; alteration of sizes is effected by the use of various headbands and crown pads. For fitting instructions refer to User Information Manual

Sizes 00 & 0 feature a chinstrap fitted with additional Vector strap and metal buckle

Storage / Life of Helmet:

Storage - Helmet should be stored in a cool well-ventilated environment and not exposed to direct sunlight. Life in appropriate storage conditions typically 10 years.

Operational Life:

It is recommended that the helmet be replaced typically after 4 years of regular use or following a severe impact. Refer to User Instruction Manual for full details relating to care and maintenance.

Communications Options:

The Argus Public Order Helmet model 017T is manufactured to conform to PAS 017: 1995 and Kitemarked Each Argus helmet is equipped with the facility to install the Argus Signum approved range of Communications Headsets which are incorporated within the Kitemark Certification.
