Handheld Through-Wall Sensor
The Range-Rfrom L-3 Security & Detection Systems is a lightweight handheld radar system to detect people through walls. The probability of detecting even the slightest movements (right down to normal breathing) is given as 95% with a false alarm rate of less than 5%.
Effective range is up to 15m, through walls, floors and ceilings constructed of reinforced concrete, cement block, wood or brick.

The Range-R from L-3 Security & Detection Systems is a lightweight handheld radar system to detect people through walls. The probability of detecting even the slightest movements (right down to normal breathing) is given as 95% with a false alarm rate of less than 5%.
Effective range is up to 15m, through walls, floors and ceilings constructed of reinforced concrete, cement block, wood or brick. To do this the Range-R utilises patented stepped frequency continuous wave radar technology and target detection algorithms to operate a sensitive Doppler motion detector.
